|Question #1||Can I arrange my cremation directly with you?|
|Answer:||No. You must arrange your cremation through a licensed funeral director per Illinois State Law. You do have the right to specify you would like our crematory to handle your cremation service regardless of the funeral director you choose.|
|Question #2||Can I pre-pay my cemetery/cremation arrangements?|
|Answer:||Yes. Staff at our cemetery will be happy to help you make the arrangements best suited to your needs and to discuss your pre-payment options.|
|Question #3||Can I pre-pay my funeral with you?|
|Answer:||Yes. We can establish an affordable payment plan for you absent of any finance charges or interest.|
|Question #4||Why should I pre-pay when my insurance will take care of the cost?|
|Answer:||Pre-payment ensures your specific wishes are carried out at the time of death including place of final disposition, type of service, design of memorial, etc.|
|Question #5||What happens if I pre-purchase at a cemetery, but change my mind or move away from the area?|
|Answer:||In accordance with state law, money received for pre-planned cemetery services such as a burial is deposited in a trust fund. If you change your mind within the first 30 days, you will receive a full refund. After 30 days, you can still cancel as long as the supplies or services contracted for haven't been provided but an administrative fee is charged as allowed by law. With respect to the purchase of interment rights (grave, lot, urn space, crypt or niche), if you should change your mind for any reason within 60 days of purchase and before the interment rights are used, Mt. Olivet Memorial Park will refund 100% of what you paid. After 60 days, you may still cancel as long as your interment rights haven't been used and we will refund what you paid, less the portion contributed to the Care and Maintenance Fund, in accordance with the law. If the contract includes a bronze memorial or other merchandise, the contract may not be able to be canceled depending on production status of the merchandise.|
